Craig and Jannie's Excellent Adventures

It's been seven years since our first date. Yep, April 1st, a Thursday, and we had lunch in the Hewlett Packard cafeteria. We met on March 9th talked and e-mailed, getting to know each other. Two weeks after our first date he proposed and we were married August 21st. If you had told either one of us that we would find our "Soulmate" at the beginning of 1999 he would have laughed with disgust and I would have laughed with disbelief. I mean hey, we've both been married, had kids, and went through miserable divorces. Life really sucked actually. Then we meet and it's like bells go off and I feel like a silly school girl. Well, the Almighty obviously knew what he was doing because 7 years later we are still crazy in love and everywhere we go is another excellent adventure! Our first trip was to the San Juan Islands, just above Washington. I've lived in Oregon all my life and thought I knew the west coast pretty well. Boy, was I wrong. These islands are so beautiful and taking the ferry to them was just the beginning of the adventure. I have to warn you though that Craig had got our reservations off the web and it turned out to be a little dissappointing. We specifically wanted a hot tub, which they said they had, but forgot to mention it was closed for the month. We were irritated but still made the most of this island in paradise. We stayed in Friday Harbor on the island of San Juan. It had the most to do of all the islands and some great resturants and quaint little stores. We were also able to drive to Roche Harbor.......
